Membership Options

We offer a variety of Membership Options and discounts in order to enable us to custom suit your membership to your needs. And we can help you to join at any time. The general categories and costs for our different programs are outlined below. If you would like more specific information, we invite you to visit Sun Yi’s, meet our Instructors, watch part or all of a class, and talk to our office staff to find the best membership package to suit your needs..

Tae Kwon Do Membership for Adults and Children (7 years of age and up)

Each student receives two private, individual lessons after signing up, and is allowed to attend any of our Tae Kwon Do classes as well as free use of our Weight Room. This all inclusive membership costs $100.00 per month, with a 6 month commitment, and includes a $25 Membership fee in our National Association, and a $40.00 Uniform fee when signing up.

Tiny Tigers Membership (for children 5-7 years of age)

Tiny Tigers class is specifically designed to be fun, supportive and developmentally appropriate for young children. It combines Tae Kwon Do and self-defense instruction, gymnastics and body conditioning, with related skills such as stranger-danger awareness, left-hand right-hand identification, confidence building and emotional self-regulation techniques, and games to create an atmosphere that young children love and thrive in. Classes are Monday and Wednesday, from 6:00-6:30pm, for $55.00 each month, with no monthly or yearly commitment, and includes a Uniform fee of $40.00 when signing up.

Other Discounts

We offer a 10% discount for Humboldt State and College of the Redwoods students, for Law Enforcement Personnel and their families, as well as for carbon neutral members (those who ride a bike or the bus or walk to class).
